About the Project

Africa-BB-Maps is a collaborative effort involving stakeholders from both Africa and Europe. The project is implemented by the ITU and funded by the European Union (EU) as part of the broader Africa-Europe Digital Regulators Partnership initiative. This partnership is supported by various National Regulatory Authorities from African countries, which are the primary beneficiaries of the project. They will receive technical assistance, training, and tools to develop and maintain national broadband mapping systems. European NRAs will contribute their expertise, drawing on Europe’s experience in broadband mapping, to guide their African counterparts throughout the project.
